M2M's place is in the home

AT&T’s Digital LifeThe GSMA's Mobile World Congress 2012 trade show in Barcelona again featured a Connected House display, only this year's version took up twice the space as last year's. Companies such as AT&T, Qualcomm, KT and others showcased multiple ways M2M can be used in the home and elsewhere. The market for M2M products is rapidly expanding, and Cisco recently noted that by 2016 there will be more M2M connections (10 billion) than the number of people on the planet (7.3 billion). For ideas on how M2M can be integrated into people's daily lives, check out this slideshow of the MWC Connected House tour.
