Moody's: Deutsche Telekom faces greater risk than AT&T if T-Mobile USA deal falls apart

If the proposed sale of T-Mobile USA to AT&T does not proceed, the operational and financial risks are greater for T-Mobile parent Deutsche Telekom than they are for AT&T, according to a new report published by Moody's Investors Service. If the proposed sale does not proceed, Moody's believes that DT would rather exit the U.S. market altogether as the options open to Deutsche Telekom if it were to stay in the market are much less palatable.
