Motorola, which is fighting hard to get a foothold in the LTE market, is taking its fight into Ericsson's backyard. The vendor is setting up an LTE demonstration network in the Kista district of Stockholm, home to Ericsson's headquarters. Motorola is inviting Nordic operators to come see the next generation of broadband via a the demo that showcases hand-over between sectors along with video and VoIP applications. The demo includes two LTE eNodeBs running on commercial hardware in the 2.6GHz band, together with Motorola's backhaul and evolved packet core products. Article
