Motorola releases new 802.11n outdoor mesh solution

Now that the 802.11n standard is official, Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Solutions business introduced a new 802.11n outdoor mesh solution. The new AP 7181 access point offers peak rates of 300 Mbps and is backward compatible with existing 802.11a/b/g mesh systems. Motorola said the system is robust enough to maintain continuous video connections to moving vehicles.
