PetziConnect enables dogs, owners to remotely bond

Two-year-old startup Petzila launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for its PetziConnect, which employs a smartphone, application and Wi-Fi enabled device that is filled with treats to help people build an emotional bond with their pets when they're apart. PetziConnect allow a dog guardian to see his pet on video, talk with it via an audio connection and dispense a treat to reward the dog for coming to the dispenser when called, said the company. PetziConnect also allows owners to snap photos, take videos and share them on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and on other social media outlets. For more, see this Petzila release.
