Qualcomm invests in small-cell backhaul startup

Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) is among the investors in small-cell backhaul startup Siklu Communications, which announced it closed its $19 million series B funding round. Siklu makes a microwave backhaul system that operates in the licensed E-band spectrum-71 GHz to 76 GHz. The company plans to use the funds to develop picocell backhaul products for LTE as well as expand its sales activities in the U.S. and India. Article
