More cities and localities are embarking on muni-WiFi initiatives to benefit their cities' economies and help poorer residents with access to the Internet. As muni-WiFi is proliferating, the menu of business models to govern these networks is expanding as well, and city planners can now choose any of several approaches as they move forward with adoption.
