Sprint Nextel has announced an exceedingly aggressive target for its first WiMAX network, promising an extensive U.S. rollout of the technology in 2008.
Analysts and vendors now say that this target is too ambitious and a new report by financial analysts predicts that the schedule will slip by a year or two because of cost overruns and delays.
