Tokyu launches Tokyo bus tour with free Wi-Fi for visitors

Tokyu, a private railway operator and land developer based in the Shibuya area of Tokyo, is launching a summer promotion that includes free rides on a tour bus, which offers an English audio tour and free Wi-Fi. The promotion, run in collaboration with Tokyo FM and a third unnamed company, is available through August. As Tokyo prepares to host the 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, Tokyu, other companies and Japan's government have been trying to initiate programs that will assist foreign visitors. According to a survey by the Japan Tourism Agency, the biggest inconveniences for foreign travelers to Japan are the lack of free Wi-Fi, communication challenges and difficulties figuring out public transportation routes to destinations.
