UMTS Forum: Mobile network traffic to grow more than 30 times by 2020

A new report from the UMTS Forum predicts that voice and data traffic on mobile networks will increase more than 30 fold during the next 10 years. The forum predicts that the total annual traffic on mobile networks will reach 127 Exabytes in 2020 on a global basis, representing a 33 times increase from 2010.
