Wireless industry executives to watch in 2015

Most everyone knows industry household names like Tim Cook, Tom Wheeler, Randall Stephenson and John Legere, but how about the less obvious innovators who are shaking things up behind the scenes? Tom Keathley has big network chops to fill at AT&T after taking over from industry veteran Kris Rinne, who retired last year as the carrier's senior vice president of network technology for AT&T Labs. At Boingo Wireless, Derek Peterson has been a driving force behind Boingo's embrace of the Wi-Fi Alliance's Hotspot 2.0 specification and its move to network functions virtualization (NFV) technology.
