3, Sony BMG ink mobile music deal

3G carrier 3 forged a mobile music partnership with Sony BMG to sell full-length audio tracks directly to handsets over 3's network. 3's subscribers will be able to access all the artists for which Sony BMG UK has mobile rights, including Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, Usher, Charlotte Church, and Oasis. 3 currently offers full-length audio tracks from EMI Music and videos from VidZone. No financial details of the partnership were released.
