4K, 8K and more: The NAB 2014 show in pictures

The National Association of Broadcasters' annual trade show drew around 98,000 attendees from every facet of the broadcasting industry to Las Vegas. And while the customary displays of cameras and broadcast equipment can be found throughout the venue, new market entrants and technological innovation were also popping up on the show floor. Additionally, some compelling tech was showcased, and 4K was on display throughout the South and North halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The talk of the show was Japan-based NHK's 8K demonstration in the NAB Labs showcase in the North Hall. Meanwhile, at ATEME's booth, visitors could put on goggles that look vaguely like the classic Viewfinder toy to get an immersive 360-degree experience courtesy of LiveSphere, a turnkey solution being offered by ATEME and partners Kolor and Finwe.
