A message from the publisher

For those of you who are keenly observant, you may have recently noticed a change to the masthead here at FierceWireless. I'm pleased to announce my new role as Publisher of our Telecom Group at FierceMarkets.

If you haven't noticed any major changes to the newsletter--that's exactly how it should be. My goal is to continue to support our editors in their mission to deliver the high quality content you've come to expect from FierceWireless.

In the coming weeks look for some great bonus coverage, including:

Mobile World Congress Preview Issue & Live Blogging. Stay on top of what is arguably the largest global wireless event of the year. I'll personally be making the trip overseas and I look forward to meeting our Fierce readers from around the globe.

CTIA Wireless 2009 Preview Issue & Live Blogging. Hard as it may be to believe, the show is less than 8 weeks away! FierceWireless is thrilled to once again be named by CTIA as the official online show daily.

The Path to 4G @ CTIA. We've also been invited back to host our official co-located event, The Path to 4G. We'll be bringing you the news from the show, but wouldn't you rather be there live? The early bird registration deadline for the event is Feb. 25, so I encourage you to register today. Contact our sales team for sponsorship information.

I look forward to serving you as publisher. Please drop me a line any time with any comments/suggestions you have about how we can better serve you. -Jason
