AirWave Wireless and Juniper Networks are teaming up to provide WiFi security to Wendy's fast food restaurants. AirWave and Juniper's wireless network security solution is targeted for the retail vertical market. The solution includes AirWave's Management Platform software that allows a centrally located administrator to monitor, analyze and configure a wireless network infrastructure in combination with Juniper's wireless VPN security device. Wendy's signed up to secure its WiFi networks in 6,600 of its locations in the US. Wendy's said the AirWave and Juniper security solution will keep their network free of viruses and malware leading to quicker and more accurate ordering.
