Alc-Lu anticipates 700MHz auction w/ CDMA offering

Alcatel-Lucent has issued a release announcing tweaks to its CDMA 2000 mobile network solution for the 700 MHz spectrum band, just as the noise surrounding the upcoming 700 MHz auction is beginning to ramp up in the U.S. Alcatel-Lucent's offering is based on EV-DO Rev. A technology and looks to benefit public safety personnel. The solution touts access assurance, PTT and multimedia support.
