In another move of creative pricing options, Alltel has announced a 24 hour "day pass" for wireless Internet browsing that costs $1.50. Motricity is powering the service. Alltel also announced that subscribers can now browse for ringback tones, ringtones and wallpapers without incurring charges, despite whether a subscriber has a data plan.
"Alltel continues to offer services that allow customers to easily integrate mobile content into their daily lives," said Wade McGill, senior VP of product management for Alltel. "The introduction of the Day Pass option is another example of Alltel's commitment to give our customers the ability to control and customize their wireless experience."
