Alltel partners with Boingo

Alltel is finally making its white-label resell WiFi arrangement with Boingo a reality. The deal, which was first announced last October, is now available commercially across the U.S.

Alltel will make Alltel WiFi service available as a stand-alone offering for $19.99 per month or $3.99 per day with no contract and it also will have a bundled offering called Internet Anywhere that allows Alltel customers to bundle WiFi with their wireless Internet plans giving them a choice of connecting to Alltel's EVDO network or a WiFi hotspot for $68.98 per month. Customers will have access to more than 25,000 hotspots.
