Amp'd introduces TV platform

Amp'd said it would be the first U.S. carrier to produce its own television network, unveiling a new mobile TV platform that includes four streamed TV stations from major broadcasters and a fifth channel that will carry self-produced shows ranging from action sports coverage to its own spoof reality TV shows. Amp'd has been filming its own content for the last year. Shows like Supercross Review and Best of Break.com will join mobisode content The Z List, Extreme Makeover: Homeless Edition and Swing Shift. All of the programs are aimed at the younger audience Amp'd has been actively targeting. Its content partners will add Fox Sports, Fox News and International Music feed to the deck.
