AOL launches mobile search services

America Online is testing a new set of mobile search functions called AOL Mobile Search Services. The new mobile search applications give users access to the AOL Search service, Pinpoint Shopping Search, and AOL Yellow Pages. AOL launched its new Mobile AOL Search Services through a partnership with InfoGin. InfoGin's technology adapts Web pages so that they can easily be viewed on browser-enabled mobile phones. There is no word yet if the service will progress beyond test phase.
