Apple actually hints of iPod phone, well kinda

Hey, we actually heard some small hint about an iPod phone in the works from someone at Apple Computer itself. During an analyst call this week with analysts, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer was asked by analysts whether the company will respond to Sony Ericsson's success in selling Walkman-branded phones. He responded by saying that Apple is "very excited about what we have in the product pipeline." Oppenheimer stressed that he didn't feel the iPod was facing pressure from music-oriented mobile phones at this point, but added, "we're not sitting around and doing nothing in this regard." Meanwhile, RIM isn't talking about rumors of an "AppleBerry" that would combine email and iPod functionality.
