AT&T bows first Windows Mobile 6 device

AT&T launched its first Windows Mobile 6 powered smartphone this week: the HTC Tilt. The Tilt's features include high-speed data access (UMTS/HSDPA), multiple email options, location-based services, expandable memory, and a 3-megapixel camera. The QWERTY handset's name comes from the movement of its screen, which tilts up. The Tilt will be made commercially available today both online and in retail stores for $299.99 with a two-year subscription to AT&T, after a mail-in rebate.
