BenQ has reportedly attracted yet another group of investors, led by Sentex Sensing Technologies, to acquire the lagging mobile phone maker. Sentex plans to prop BenQ up as a manufacturer of high-end mobile phones for Europe. The report comes shortly after a German-American group of investors, led by Hansjorg Beha, made a similar bid. If BenQ Mobile does not find a buyer soon, it looks likely that current investors will pull the plug, since the company has suffered tremendous brand damage.
