BlackBerry Bold arrives in AT&T stores

The long-awaited BlackBerry Bold smartphone is finally on sale in AT&T stores nationwide. Beginning today consumers can purchase the phone, which uses AT&T's HSPA network, for $299.99. Voice plans start at $39.99 and unlimited data plans are available for $30 per month with a voice plan. Customers that purchase an unlimited data plan will get free WiFi from AT&T's network of hotspots.

The Bold features GPS and is preloaded with popular applications such as AT&T Navigator, yellowpages.com Mobile, XM Radio Mobile and Music ID. In addition, the Bold has access to AT&T's Media Mall.

The Bold was initially expected to debut this summer but was delayed because Research in Motion wanted to make sure it worked properly on AT&T's 3G HSPA network.
