BlackBerry lands in China

TCL, the distributor of Research In Motion's BlackBerry handset in China, said it began shipping the devices to China Mobile in the fourth quarter of last year. The announcement indicates that sales of BlackBerry devices should begin in the Chinese market soon. Local reports in the country claim that BlackBerry devices will make their way to store shelves by month's end, but the decision is left to China Mobile. RIM has been trying to break into the China market for years--it's the last major Asian market left for the company.
