Branson planning MVNO in China

Sir Richard Branson said Virgin Mobile is in talks with a Chinese company to set up an MVNO in China. The news comes off the heals of Virgin's deal with NTL in the U.K. and with Carphone Warehouse to set up an MVNO in France, piggybacking off Orange's network. It looks like the company has some aggressive expansion plans in places that are already familiar with the Virgin brand now that it seems to have perfected the MVNO concept. The company plans to set up a joint venture with Bell Canada in March next year and is looking to make deals in Mexico, South Africa and Nigeria.
