Centennial's Q3 meets expectations

Regional U.S. carrier Centennial Communications posted a Q3 net loss of $1.35 million or $0.01 per share, up from a loss of $6.06 million or $0.06 per share in the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Analysts expected earnings of $0.01 a share. Adjusted operating income came in at $84.6 million, up from $82.97 million in the same quarter in 2006. Consolidated revenue totaled $229.1 million, up from $212.7 million the year before. Analysts expected revenues of $227.15 million.
