Clearwire demos new WiMAX technology; Telefonica signs pan-European deal

> Clearwire Corp. demonstrated new technology last week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that converts a WiMAX signal into a WiFi signal that can connect to as many as eight WiFi devices. Article

> Telefonica inked a $467.6 million deal with Deutsche Post World Net, covering 125,000 employees at 2,400 sites in 28 European countries and making it Europe's largest mobile and fixed communications contract. Article
