Clearwire laying foundation for new market launches in NYC, San Fran

Flush with $2.8 billion in new investment, mobile WiMAX operator Clearwire is moving ahead with plans to cover 120 million POPs by the end of the year. As part of that action, the carrier plans to add major new markets including New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, and is already tackling the complexities related to the launches.
