Digital Chocolate, Amobee team on games


Mobile advertising solutions provider Amobee Media Systems announced an agreement with mobile entertainment developer Digital Chocolate to collaborate on an ad-funded business model. Per terms of the deal, Digital Chocolate will integrate Amobee's Handset Application Programming Interface to select game titles for mobile ad insertion--the ads will be delivered either interstitially during idle game time, dynamically within the game environment or as banner ads. From there, subscribers may choose to receive additional information or initiate a transaction. "We're not doing anything without user consent," said Amobee CEO Zohar Levkovitz in an interview with FierceMobileContent. "The user is in complete control." - Jason
