EA inks game deals with Verizon Wireless, Sprint

Electronic Arts today announced mobile game deals with Verizon Wireless and Sprint. Verizon Wireless will offer a number of EA titles including Madden NFL 06, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, and NBA Live 06 to subscribers of its VCast 3G mobile data service. EA in May said it planned to launch 15 to 20 mobile games this year with projected mobile game revenue of up to $25 million. No financial details of the mobile game sales agreement were released.

EA also announced a partnership with Sprint. Sprint will sell a number of EA titles, including Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006 and Poppit!, through its Game Lobby, a website where users can download games and compare scores. No financial details of the Sprint, EA deal were released.
