Energizer introduces portable phone charger

What's the biggest headache of heavy travelers when it comes to their mobile phones? A dead battery. Energizer is introducing portable devices that will allow travelers to charge most mobile phones and other devices like iPods without having to compete with fellow travelers for that obscure electrical outlet in the airport. Energi To Go will be available nationwide Sept. 1 for $20, supplying immediate power to a mobile phone. Some phones with completely dead batteries can be used within 30 seconds of activating the charger, according to Energizer. The charger works with about 80 percent of the mobile-phone brands available in the U.S., the company said.
