The European Patent Office has granted a European firm called Innoventions a patent on a very iPhone-like user interface feature called "tilt and scroll." This display navigation system is designed for smartphones and other mobile electronic devices. Innoventions' "RotoView tilt and scroll" feature allows users to tilt the device left, right, up or down to see beyond the virtual boundaries of handset's display. Users can then exit the mode to "fix" the display and zoom in and out.
