Fierce Wireless presents its 2022 class of Rising Stars

Fierce Wireless profiled six young executives from the major U.S. wireless providers for our 2022 class of Rising Stars.

As usual, these Rising Stars have interesting stories. For instance, AT&T's Nate Zager started his career at Apple as a retail specialist, where he met a recruiter for AT&T’s sales leadership development program.

Dish Wireless' Dean Zigulich was making an impact within six months at the company where he helped finalize a Dish-Mavenir contract.

Four of our six 2022 Rising Stars are women, which is a nice trend to see in the wireless industry.

For Verizon's Kadie Gavan, her highest-profile project so far has been working on the SoFi stadium DAS, constructed ahead of the 2022 Super Bowl.

T-Mobile’s Linda Zhao was tasked with evaluating how T-Mobile’s and Sprint’s product portfolios should come together and how the teams should operate post-merger.

For her first day in a new assignment at Verizon in April 2013, Leena Peters was working in the company’s Boston office when she got word about the Boston Marathon bombing. She and her team worked until midnight to repair the network.

And AT&T’s Stephanie Stare had two back-to-back chief of staff roles at AT&T, giving her an inside view of leadership at the company before she became a director of technology over data operations.

We hope you enjoy reading all these profiles. And please share their stories with your networks on social media to give even more recognition to these impressive young Rising Stars.
