HP prepares new iPaqs with new Windows

Hewlett-Packard is preparing to launch a new line of wireless iPaq handhelds in January, the same time Microsoft plans to launch the newest version of its Windows Mobile Operating System. The hw6700 line of iPaqs will feature more storage and WiFi. HP is trying to transition the iPaq into PDA/phone combo device that can compete with smart phones like the popular Treo.
