HSPA subscribers hit 50M

The GSMA reports that the number of HSPA subscribers has grown from 11 million in August 2007 to 50 million today. HSPA subscribers are growing at a rate of 4 million connections per month.

There are 191 commercial HSPA networks in the world and more than 740 HSPA devices (including phones, dongles and notebooks) available from 16 manufacturers.
