Hutchison reports H1 loss in Australia

Hutchison Telecommunications reported a net loss of A$305.28 million for the first half of 2005, down from the A$332.9 million loss in the same time period last year. The 3G carrier warned that competitive pressures would rise through the remainder of 2005, especially as more Australian carriers launch 3G services.
