Jolla exec says company wants to extend Sailfish to more devices

Finnish handset maker Jolla shipped its first smartphone in Europe in December and now the company is eyeing a bigger market. In an interview with FierceWireless:Europe, Marc Dillon, co-founder and COO of Jolla, said that the team plans to extend the reach of Jolla's operating system Sailfish beyond its own devices. Dillon explained that Sailfish is compatible with Google's Android OS, meaning it can run on any device that comes preloaded with Android. Article
