Judge halts Palm case

A federal judge halted a patent infringement lawsuit brought against Palm by NTP. Palm can continue to sell its products until the USPTO rules whether they infringe on NTP's wireless email patents. NTP is famous for suing Blackberry maker RIM on similar grounds. RIM ended up settling with NTP for $612.5 million in early 2006.
