Lurie joins board of software company OnePin

Former Synchronoss Technologies President and CEO Glenn Lurie has joined the board of software company OnePin, which counts some of the world’s biggest mobile operators among its customers.

Boston-based OnePin’s software is designed to help drive revenue, retention and advertising opportunities for mobile operators, and its systems are used by the likes of A1 Telekom, Orange and Vodafone. Earlier this year, Lurie joined the advisory board of FiberLight after resigning from Synchronoss last year amid allegations of misconduct. Before that, he was president and CEO of AT&T’s Mobility and Consumer Operations, where he grew the wireless and consumer business.

Lurie, who started his wireless career at McCaw Cellular, was one of the key negotiators on AT&T’s deal to get the first iPhone, for which AT&T had the exclusive for several years. While at AT&T, he helped build businesses for IoT/emerging devices, Digital Life and Aio Wireless, now Cricket Wireless. He left AT&T in 2017.

Lurie currently serves as a venture partner at StormBreaker Ventures. Besides serving on multiple advisory councils, he’s an active board member for several organizations, such as Avis Budget Group, Pivotal Commware, Teal Communications and Blue Link Wireless.

"Glenn is a great addition to our Board of Advisors. His previous leadership roles at AT&T bring OnePin a tremendous source of knowledge and experience. Glenn helped shape the global mobile industry and we are sure that he will support OnePin's continuous mobile innovation," said OnePin President and CEO Feyzi Çelik in a statement.
