According to new findings from Strategy Analytics, there will be 20 million fixed-wireless WiMax installations by 2009. The researcher predicts that WiMax installations will take off in developing markets looking to make the leap to broadband. Several service providers already offer pre-certification WiMax broadband wireless services. Certified WiMax gear will hit the market by the end of this year.
