Metric: Business IP phones to hit 4M units

According to Gartner Research, annual shipments of business IP phones in the US and Canada will top 4 million in 2005 and exceed 11 million in 2009. The study claimed that the enterprise VoIP industry's revenue will grow throughout the forecast period, reaching $1.3 billion in 2009. Continued adoption of VoIP among big businesses and new VoIP trends, like wireless VoIP, are expected to fuel much of the growth.
