Metric: Global wireless youth market to hit 400M by 2007

According to a new report from the Wireless World Forum, the global wireless youth market is set to grow from 257 million users to nearly 400 million by 2007. The youth market now spends $100 billion on wireless products and services, which translates to $1 in every $10 of disposable youth income. The researcher predicts that in India, the wireless youth market will grow 300 percent, hitting 27.6 million users by 2007. The wireless youth market in India currently generates $437 million in revenue per year.
