Metric: Teens want MP3 players on phones

According to a new survey from the Yankee Group, 71 percent of US teens want MP3 players on their cell phones. Other coveted features include camera phones (70 percent), presence location (61 percent), TV (61 percent), video clips (57 percent), and mobile games (54 percent). The study claims that family share plans have been the primary driver of teen cell phone adoption to this stage, but moving forward prepaid services and MVNOs will account for growing mobile adoption in the your market.
