Microsoft expected to unveil 'Project Pink' phones today

Microsoft is expected to take the wraps off of its "Project Pink" devices at an event in San Francisco today, which begins at 1 p.m. EST. The phones have been rumored for some time, and are expected to be geared toward users of social networking services. Reports have indicated the devices will be made by Sharp but will carry Microsoft branding. Verizon Wireless is expected to be Microsoft's U.S. carrier partner for the phones.
