Microsoft has shipped 2M Windows Phone 7 devices

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) said it has shipped 2 million Windows Phone 7 devices to its licensee partners, though the company still has not indicated how many of those gadgets have been purchased by end users. The company gave the sales update a little more than one month after it reported 1.5 million sales to its partners. Microsoft continues to argue that customers who have used the devices are incredibly enthusiastic about the platform. However, LG--one of Microsoft's major WP7 partners--indicated earlier this month that it wasn't satisfied with the platform's launch visibility. Article
