Mobile game publisher Sorrent is branding itself as Glu Mobile. The company yesterday officially unveiled its new brand during a reception at BREW 2005. Sorrent recently acquired European game maker Macrospace. The new brand is designed to help the newly merged company present a global brand for carriers and consumers. Sorrent is a member of the 2003 FierceWireless Fierce 15, an annual list of the top emerging wireless companies.
