Affordable and easy international calling is becoming a focus for MVNOs, and MobileSphere is increasingly the beneficiary. MVNO Consumer Cellular announced a deal with MobileSphere to provide customers with direct-dial, cost-effective international calling services. Consumer Cellular specializes in providing services to customers who have a mobile phone primarily for convenience and don't want a contract. With the partnership, Consumer Cellular will be able to divert calls from the high cost cellular carrier networks to MobileSphere's platform. From this platform, international calls are provisioned, billed and terminated across MobileSphere's Tier 1 network in an effort to provide an affordable option for international calls, combined with the simplicity of direct dialing. MobileSphere has now racked up seven deals with MVNOs for its international calling platform.
