Motricity going public with $250M IPO

Motricity on Friday filed for an initial public offering to raise up to $250 million, which will be used for working capital as well as capital expenditures and acquisitions. The company's mCore platform offers wireless carriers tools to manage their mobile content, Web, messaging and marketing efforts. Motricity reported sales of $88.7 million and a loss of $28.8 million over the first nine months of 2009. The company was a FierceWireless Fierce15 winner in 2005. Article
