MVNO EasyMobile, known for its no-frills cheap mobile services in Europe, primarily in the U.K. and Germany, is closing in the Netherlands after failing to attract enough price-conscious subscribers. It looks like that market has become saturated. There are now some 40 virtual operators competing for business in the Netherlands, and EasyMobile wasn't part of the major MVNO growth trend. According to Telecompaper, the MVNO market increased more than 15 percent during the past year to more than 2.5 million subscribers.
